Scott Kirby is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and martial arts enthusiast whose natural diet includes rotisserie chickens and Kit Kats. Jill Kirby has been teaching classes on healthy eating for three years, and is a chef and nutrition instructor trained at Living Light Culinary Arts Institute, who (mostly) hates exercising.
When these powers combine, we add up to one very healthy person and one who needs a lot of work! Through Level Up’s blog we chronicle our journey to create holistic health for both of us, and through our consulting practice we work to help others reach their own health goals through thoughtful, integrated nutrition and fitness plans.
When we aren’t cooking, working out or enthusiastically researching nutrition and exercise, we’re learning to be better parents of our rambunctious pit-mutt Cecil, enjoying some old school anime or sci-fi movies, slowly renovating our 1958 ranch-style home in Winooski, Vermont (just outside Burlington) or trying to get yet another band together.
